Fall 2018 Fashion Show

On Friday October 26, Jovani ventured to the community of Capitol Hill, bringing a taste of the fashion scene to North Burnaby. The event was held at an intimate venue near Hastings Street. Jovani reached out to fashion enthusiasts in the community.

In preparation for the show, fourteen models spent the afternoon with professional hair and makeup artists (@cinthiatorres.mua, @jasmine.junee, @katrinaaissa, @amandastraith, @be.glam). Live band ‘The Dead Ringers’ filling the air with upbeat music energizing the crowd. Models hit the catwalk showcasing a dazzling collection of Jovani attire captivated by photographers @silvesterthelaw, @frankieshiu. Attendees were treated to wine and cheese bar, then given an exclusive opportunity to explore a selection of curated Jovani pieces at this shopping event. “It was a truly unique and different experience, I really wanted to connect with women in our community who inspire me.” said designer Yifat Jovani about the event. Her motivation is to celebrate women from different walks of life who have embraced what it is to be a real women. She believes that looking beautiful is also influenced by how you feel. The event was meant to capture the essence of beauty. Jovani clothing line compliments this feeling through comfort, without sacrificing style. This sold out event showcases established artists, designers and musicians.
